Actually… for more expensive kits, its better to have the mor traditional method to remove parts with tools. I expect they will only use this easy no tools parts for chepo kits.
Probably not cause the kit is cheap, simply because the sprue on it is thin and no tools are needed to remove it
The kits are inexpensive so children will part with their pocket money to buy them. The minimal gate material is a deliberate design choice to allow children to safely pop the parts off with just their fingers and not need any sharp tools. young children wont care about small scars on their model parts.
