Getting Rid of Seams
Materials
Cement Plastic Glue $2-$3 US
Pieces of model kits
Sanding Paper $1-$3 US
First step in removing seams is taking the hobby knife and removing as much of the insignificant plastic as much as possible without damaging the pieces itself.
Leave a small gap between the two pieces and apply liquid cement (preferably Testor's or Plastic Weld). When the plastic weld has been applied, the pieces are pressed together.
Let the pieces completely dry and cure before moving on.
After it has dried, sand the place with the seam lines until the seam are completely gone.
Preferable first use 200 grits, then 400 and finally 600 grits.
